Introduction to Wicca
This
is an ongoing course, and classes start each month at the New Moon.
The course is held in Victoria, British Columbia.
Because
this is such an intensive course, it is only available in a class setting.*
Class size is limited to 9.

If you live in an
area where it is impossible to find teaching, or materials for
self-study, an adapted course is available by correspondence.
This
course will explore the philosophy and practise of Wicca. Each class
will include a guided meditation. Bring pen and paper to the first
class; for subsequent classes, a journal will be
required.
The course outline is as follows:
CLASS
I - The Deities of Wicca - the Goddess and God; meanings; faces;
symbols, and exercises for developing rapport with them.
CLASS
II - A discussion of Magick as it applies to Wicca - personal power
and Divine power; the Magic Crcle and the Altar; energy play; the
importance and technique of "earthing" the energy.
CLASS
III - The Days of Power and the Wheel of the Year; a discussion of
the Esbats and Sabbats.
CLASS
IV - Tools - finding, consecrating and using them. Ritual - Part
One: preparing for Ritual.
CLASS
V - Ritual - Part Two : Purification of Self and Space; creating
Sacred Space; Invocation and "devocation"; "Cakes and
Ale"; breaking the Circle.
CLASS
VI - Initiation: Solitary Practise vs. "traditional" initiation.
CLASS
VII - This class will be devoted to tecniques of meditation and visualization.
CLASS
VII - Potluck and Closing Ritual.
Please
bring food or drink to share (non-alcoholic) and wear comfortable
clothing. Pre-registration is a must. Cost of course is $175, which
includes a copy of each lesson, and meditations on disc. To enquire

In the event you wish to do this course via correspondence, cost is $175.00 plus shipping. This includes hard copies of the lessons, and a video DVD with the lessons and the meditations and exercises.
